Working with traumatized people requires specialist knowledge. We impart knowledge about trauma and its consequences, enabling mental health professionals to provide appropriate and trauma-sensitive support to their target groups. We do this through seminars, trainings, and supervision – in Germany and abroad, on-site and online.

International Training Programs

In countries affected by war, terror or other forms of systematic violence, a particularly large number of people need qualified therapeutic support. For this reason, we work with our partner organizations to train trauma specialists – in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Kurdistan-Iraq, Palestine, Ukraine and Central America.

Our services include multi-session training courses in psychotraumatology and support for professionals through supervision.

International Refresher and Advanced Seminar

Each year, we invite graduates of our training courses in Brazil, Kurdistan-Iraq, Palestine, Central America and Germany to an International Refresher and Advanced Seminar in Germany. This is where they refresh their knowledge and network with other professionals.

Trauma-Centered Case Supervision

Educational and therapeutic work with people who have experienced trauma requires a self-reflective and self-empowering approach.

In trauma-centered case supervision, we use your case examples to reflect in the group on the psychotraumatological dynamics present. Together, we discuss which methods would be appropriate for further support.
