The Wings of Hope Foundation promotes charitable purposes and is registered for the promotion of public health care and the promotion of international understanding according to the last notice of exemption we received from the Munich tax office (tax number 143/235/72632) dated 10.11.2022 (assessment period 2019 to 2021) in accordance with § 5 para. 1 No. 9 of the German Corporation Tax Act (Körperschaftsteuergesetz) and Section 3 No. 6 of the German Trade Tax Act (Gewerbesteuergesetz).

9. Corporate Affiliation with Third Parties

The Wings of Hope Foundation Germany is a charitable foundation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bavaria based in Munich. The board of directors is appointed by the regional church council.

The foundation has been carrying out its statutory tasks together with Labenbachhof gemeinnützige GmbH since 2010. This is a wholly owned subsidiary of the foundation.
