In Germany, we support people who are suffering from the consequences of traumatic experiences. These include therapeutic programs for refugees, as well as individualized therapy options for people who have experienced trauma. We work particularly closely with the trauma care center of our partner organization in Bethlehem.
Stabilization and Resource Program for Refugees
Under the motto “Take a Deep Breath and Strengthen Your Inner Balance,” we invite people with traumatic refugee experiences to participate in stabilization and resource programs at the Labenbachhof in Ruhpolding several times a year. For one week, they take part in trauma education and therapy, rediscovering their resources and collecting positive experiences. Afterward, they can participate in regional stabilization groups.

Individual Trauma Therapy and Counseling
Our therapy services in Germany are for adults who are specifically seeking trauma therapy after traumatic experiences.
This often the case with domestic violence, (sexualized) violence during childhood, or the transgenerational transmission of trauma within families.
Trauma Care in Bethlehem, Palestine
Our long-standing project partner, Wings of Hope for Trauma Care, provides support each year in the Palestinian city of Bethlehem to hundreds of people who have experienced violence and oppression.
Our partner organization’s psychologists focus on individual therapy for women and children suffering from domestic violence.
We support our Palestinian colleagues through continuous professional training and supervision.
