As the head of Fundraising and Communications, she played a key role in shaping the public image of our foundation, building strong relationships with our donors, and working tirelessly behind the scenes to help turn our projects into reality.<\/p>\n<p>Three years ago, we celebrated her retirement with a joyful summer gathering. It is with profound sadness that we now say goodbye far too soon.<\/p>\n<p>Our thoughts and heartfelt sympathy are with her husband Tom, her brothers, and their families during this difficult time.<\/p>\n<p>Connection is the bond that unites us\u2014across time and space, and beyond death. In this spirit, we remain deeply connected to Imke.<\/p>\n<p>We are grateful for her care, her humor, and the clarity she brought to so many moments we shared. Now we entrust her to God&#8217;s eternal peace.<\/p>\n<p><strong>We miss you.<br \/>\n<\/strong><em>Your Wings of Hope
